Aly Dodell is a compassionate and dedicated licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist (LMFT) and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with 15 years
of experience working with children, teens, and adults. Her years of practice have
spanned both clinical and private settings, and she specializes in nurturing the
unique strengths of neurodivergent and typically developing children. Aly is
committed to helping her clients grow and develop the skills they need to flourish
in all areas of life.


Aly earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of the
Pacific in Stockton, California, and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family
Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute in Chatsworth. Further enhancing her
expertise, she completed the BCBA program at Florida Tech, with a focus on
applied behavior analysis.


Throughout her career, Aly has embraced diverse therapeutic environments,
including Head Start programs and intensive outpatient care for adolescents.

She has supported individuals with a variety of experiences, such as body
dysmorphia, depression, and anxiety, using a wide array of therapeutic
techniques. These include play therapy, role-playing, video modeling, scenario-
based learning, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), all aimed at enhancing
emotional regulation, communication, social skills, and navigating life transitions.
Her approach with CBT empowers clients to transform their thought patterns,
fostering positive emotional and behavioral outcomes.


Aly is also passionate about empowering parents through training and education,
equipping them with effective strategies to support their children's emotional and
behavioral growth at home. Her guidance in behavior management, emotional
regulation, social skills development, and life transitions helps families build
stronger, more connected relationships.


In her role as a supervisor at an ABA company, Aly leads with warmth and
expertise, mentoring clinicians to deliver compassionate and effective care.
Outside of her professional life, Aly enjoys singing, Pilates, and traveling!
